Oh how they must hate us

We have just received our schedule from the Delta Bingo Sponsors' Association for the latter half of 2005. Eight out of 19 sessions have been scheduled over significant holidays:

Canada Day Weekend
Civic Holiday
Labour Day Weekend
Rosh Hashanah
Yom Kippur
Eid al-Fitr
Halloween (ok, so it's not technically a holiday -- but that means we won't get to hand out treats!)
Christmas Eve (the 1am game at Delta Bingo on Christmas Eve could make a depressing documentary film)

Not that we're affected by every holiday listed, but it sure seems like the Association plotted to make things inconvenient for us in every way possible, by covering ALL the bases -- without making it TOO obvious. Wilbur suspects that they did this because they know we have some of the youngest volunteers at the hall, and they therefore assume that we probably have fewer familial obligations to undertake. But fewer obligations than the players themselves?

LobsterJam!

A reminder of the details...

LobsterJam!

1 pm, Saturday April 23 at the Château.

BYOC - Bring you own crustacean (see evite messages for clarification).

If you want to bring alcohol, fine, but there will be plenty already there. Along with cheese biscuits, bibs and assorted and sundry delights. :-) We're still working on the lobster-flavoured jam though.

We tried to get a Lobster-Jam band, but it fell through. There is a guitar, so if you have talent, bring that.

Once most people get to the Chateau, we'll start to cook the critters - maybe 2ish? Don't eat lunch beforehand. We will stuff you.

Ok, see you soon!

I am such a bubblehead

Having successfully uploaded my pictures from a recent trip to DC, I have forgotten the e-mail address with which I'd registered for a Flickr account. Oop. Guess I'll have to start all over again.
